Deanston

Deanston Distillery was established near Doune in 1965 in a huge old weaving mill dating from 1785 and distillation commenced in 1966. This is a Highland malt whiskey distillery equipped with an open topped cast iron mash tun and four gleaming copper stills. Visitors are welcomed at the Deanston Distillery visitor centre where distillery tours are available and its superb cafe is open all year round. The Deanston range includes the Deanston 12 Year Old and Virgin Oak.
