Glenisla
During the 1970s one still in Glen Keith Distillery was used to concentrate peat flavour in water which had been flavoured with peat smoke and imported from Stornoway. The resulting peated water was used in the production of small volumes of Craigduff malt whiskey and Glenisla malt whiskey as an alternative to sourcing peated whiskey from Islay for use in Chivas blends. A few casks of this old and rather rare whiskey have been bottled by Signatory Vintage as Craigduff and Glenisla malt whiskies.
