Mannochmore

Mannochmore Distillery was established in 1971 in the Speyside whisky region alongside an elderly neighbour which dates from 1876. Mannochmore is equipped with eight larch washbacks and six stills and produced Loch Dhu the now sought after ‘black’ single malt whisky produced by maturation of Mannochmore malt whisky in heavily charred oak casks. Mannochmore typically produces light malt whisky with fragrant vanilla and malty notes for blending. Given its very limited availability as a distillery bottling this malt whisky can be found in the Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs range.
